I just did a fast walking tour (quasi legal)of the Nike site at St. Bonifacius MN. Very Cool. Very interesting to know that this site was there all these years. Does anyone have a diagram of the site and designations of the buildings? A friend of mine grew up 3 mi from there and never knew of it. Now that's good opsec!

After reading kman's post I decided to go to St. Bonifacius to see the Nike Hercules on display in a city park, then over to Nike Road to see the barracks and admin buildings and finally out to the old site itself. As kman said, it is in a deteriorated state. It is nice to see some of the Cold War history still around. I was Ordnance, 22G20, Nike Launcher Repairman. I schooled at Redstone Arsenal,1967-1968 Stationed at McGregor Range, 1968 and 44th Ordnance 30th Arty Bde. Okinawa 1968-1969.
